One of the hottest peppers in the world the ghost pepper or also known as the bhut jolokia pepper has a scoville unit heat level of up to 1 million scoville units and higher. It was the worlds hottest pepper in 2007 and has since been beat by the carolina reaper which has a heat level up to 2.2 million shu.
Our ghost peppers are picked at there peak ripeness for the most flavor and heat, then we slow dry them for a balanced flavor that gives a sweet strawberry aroma and taste plus us drying at low temps makes sure we do not destroy the heat level.

*Cooking instructions: to rehydrate ghost peppers add about 1/4 inch of water in a sauce pan heat water on low for about 10 minutes add dried ghost peppers to sauce pan simmer until pepper is desired texture which normally take 5-7 minutes.
